Huskers Possible Move to the Big Ten
When I first heard that Nebraska could be a possibility to become a new member of the Big Ten Conference, I thought it was a joke. But after thinking about it more and more I think that it can only be a better place for them in ALL sports, not just football. Our basketball team could get better recruits since the Big Ten is known for having great basketball teams. Our football team wouldn't have to deal with the heavily one-sided Texas conference of the Big 12. I sure hope we hear and answer soon and then the Huskers can go compete with other teams and get more money for the Big Ten TV Network. We'd get to play against the likes of Joe Pa, Jim Tressel (Pelini's alma mater) and Tom Izzo (if he stays) in basketball. I can't wait for the move and I think the BIG RED would be stupid not to do it soon.
